18th Street Arts Center was founded in 1988, and since that time has supported over 6000 artists who have worked, lived and created their art in multiple disciplines and formats. The mission of 18th Street is to provoke public dialogue through contemporary artmaking in a community which values art as an essential component of a just and healthy society.
