Symphony In The Glen

Since 1994, the Symphony In The Glen Free Concert program has been based in Griffith Park at the Old Zoo Picnic Area. These free outdoor concerts help create the sense of community that many Angelenos crave: a touch of small town in the big city. Maestro Arthur B. Rubinstein founded the free concert program in 1993 for the express purpose of cultivating new generations of classical music lovers. Under Maestro Rubinstein's baton, the all-professional Symphony In The Glen Orchestra provides world-class performances of symphonic music that are engaging, admission free and whole-family friendly. Concertgoers bring blankets and picnics and settle in to share a few hours with the world's great composers.
