The Los Angeles Public Library serves the largest population of any library in the country. Its Central Library, 71 branch libraries, six million books and web-based resources at www.lapl.org provide everyone with free and easy access to information and the opportunity for lifelong learning. With free services that include internet and Wi-Fi access, more than 18,000 free public programs for all ages, a collection of electronic books, music and movies available to download, and more, the Library is helping people reach their goals everyday, in every neighborhood.
