Hispanics for LA Opera
Description
Hispanics for Los Angeles Opera was founded in 1991 by Ed and Alicia-Garcia Clark, with support from Maestro Plácido Domingo and his wife Marta acting as Honorary Chairs. The principal purpose of Hispanics for Los Angeles Opera (HLAO) is to promote the appreciation of, and the attendance to, opera performances at LA Opera by the Hispanic community of Los Angeles, through support of education and community services programs at LA Opera and through its own promotional and fundraising efforts.
